Sueño Azul is located near the town of Horquetas de Sarapiqui in the northern Caribbean lowlands of Costa Rica, just 1 ½ hours drive from San Jose. This region is one of the most diverse in Costa Rica, oferring a mosaic of mountains, plains, volcanoes, lakes, rivers, forests, fruit farms and cattle ranches. Marked by a quaint tropical flavor, the region is lush and enjoys a balmy temperature year round.
 

Amenities:

The Resort is decorated in a rustic style remeniscent of the cattle ranches of the region. There are 48 spacious rooms and one junior suite with AC and outdoor jaccuzzi. All are equiped with private bath, cealing fans and a terrace overlooking the beautiful grounds.

The courtyard, built around an ancient hacienda, is the "heart" of the resort. Here you can gather with family and friends or meet other travelers at the bar.
We also have a pool, hot tub, yoga studio and spa to make your vacation complete.

Adventures:

Sueño Azul is a horseback riders dream. Our horses are gentle enough for beginers and our guides will lead you through the forest to magical destinations including a waterfall where you can take a refreshing swim before your ride back to the resort.
